yeah, thats smart. if they are still paying for the car, that means the cars is not his, but the banks. he still has to continue to pay for it. thats if the car was under his name, if the car was on her name, he could be order to pay her back - deposit and all payments, and then he needs to pay the bank what ever its own. yep, smart move...
